DOCUMENTATION PROCESSOR
New York, NY

Eastern Funding LLC is currently seeking a qualified individual for a Documentation Processor position.

Qualifications:

Fundamental understanding of financial concepts.
Strong verbal and written communications.
Ability to multitask and problem solve.
Ability to work independently and understand the need for timely response and proactive measures.
Working knowledge of computer software: Word, Excel and TValue.
3 years previous experience in a high volume, administrative, customer service like job required.

Responsibilities:

Review of information entered into Loan System by credit analyst and update data as needed, and change status codes when appropriate.
Timely and accurate preparation of loan/lease documents ensuring credit requirements are adhered to properly.
Review of executed documents upon return.
Satisfy security issues such as accurate and timely filing of Uniform Commercial Code forms, obtaining terminations or waivers from other secured parties and sending PMSI notices.
Maintain constant communication with the customer, broker, vendor and loan officer to guarantee that all unexpected obstacles that arise during the preparation through funding phases of a transaction are resolved proactively.
Work directly with legal counsel and customer to prepare all documentation for closings of loans and to ensure all other parties involved are prepared and attend closing for satisfactory and immediate funding.
Resolve documentation and funding deficiencies effectively through verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.
Audit the loan/lease files prior to funding; using existing tools such as checklists.
Maintain and update multiple transactions simultaneously, follow up for post funding items.
