Position Summary – Generate profitable sales volume with Marlin’s array of equipment financing programs. Primary objective is focused on vendor acquisition and growth, which requires heavy prospecting activity. Position requires significant phone contact with both customers and prospects, utilizing an in-house contact management system. Marketing team will support vendor contacts with direct marketing and promotions.

Essential functions :

  • Call on new sales leads to generate sales
  • Interface with Credit department colleagues on new origination volume
  • Develop and maintain accurate data in client database
  • Prepare financial support and documentation for all lease contracts
  • Handle incoming business from sales prospects
  • Achieve daily and monthly sales volume and account management quotas

Position Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Two years plus of sales experience
  • Self driven, results oriented individual with clear focus on high quality and profitability
  • Leasing related experience a plus

  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication, telephone and negotiating skills
  • Outgoing personality
  • Ability to learn and retain financial product information
  • Good Finance skills
  • Detailed and team oriented
