Key Responsibilities:

• Managing issues involving the securitization legal documentation and the associated aircraft lease and financing documentation.
• Reviewing information and reports from securitization cash managers and identifying current and potential issues and resolutions.  
• Assessing business aspects and implications related to aircraft technical issues.
• Managing insurance matters. 
• Presenting to securitization board of directors.
• Managing defaults, amendments, waivers, subleasing, and renewals/extensions in relation to aircraft lease/loan transactions.
• Overseeing production of financial statements by outside accounting firms and completion of related audits; overseeing tax issues.
• In conjunction with internal marketing, complete Aircraft re-marketing transactions.
• Managing issues relating to institutional investors, rating agency matters, and interest rate hedging.
• Managing airline workouts / re-structurings and bankruptcies. 
• Obtaining, reviewing, and assessing securitization cash flow model runs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field.
• 7-8 years experience in portfolio management of highly structured large ticket equipment leasing and financing transactions, including experience pricing, structuring, negotiating, and documenting such transactions.
• Customer orientation and interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, co-workers, and outside third parties.  
• Analytical skills necessary to identify and understand issues and consequences inherent in business transactions. 
• Negotiation experience with customers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate complex commercial, financial, and legal positions.  

In addition, you work well as part of a team, are detail oriented, able to meet deadlines, and have a proactive approach to resolving issues. Other required skills include planning and organizational skills necessary to coordinate workload around multiple assignments, strong computer skills, and solid project management experience. You have a working knowledge of securitization structures and issues, interest rate swaps, and financial statements including ability to assess and interpret the data and information. Additional desired qualifications include an MBA or advanced degree in finance, accounting, or a related field and aircraft securitization experience.
