SR. CREDIT ANALYST
Orange, CA

We are currently experiencing tremendous growth and are seeking a dynamic, motivated individual to join our team as a Sr. Credit Analyst for our Financial Services Division. This individual will control IIC’s loss exposure by providing timely and accurate assessment of credit risk on new and existing customers. In addition, the Sr. Credit Analyst will manage reporting and tracking of information material to the credit evaluation/approval process.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide prompt and accurate credit evaluations in a fast paced environment.
  • Prepare formal credit write-ups.
  • Monitor credit risk by periodically evaluating financial trends and/or credit bureau reports, pay habits and headline news.
  • Work with sales teams to obtain customers’ current financial statements.
  • Manage department tracking reports for accuracy and timely updates.
  • Evaluate requests for Net 30 terms, within assigned credit limit, for the IIS and ISE divisions, in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that credit files are maintained in a timely, orderly manner.
Qualifications:
  • 5 years of commercial credit analysis and risk underwriting experience, preferably in the banking/leasing industry.
  • Proven experience and strong knowledge of financial statement analysis.
  • Solid working knowledge of general accounting principals/GAAP.
  • Working knowledge of commercial credit reporting agencies such as Dun and Bradstreet, Moody’s and S&P, Bloomberg.
  • Moderate to advanced Excel and Word skills.
Education/Certification: Bachelor’s Degree with concentration in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience.

  • Strong credit/risk analysis skills.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with an ability to make balanced decisions, weighing risk to IIC while maintaining relationships and meeting customer needs.
  • Ability to present complex financial analysis, verbal and written, in a concise and easy to understand format.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively on a one-on-one basis or in a group setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide superior customer service and maintain cooperative working relationships.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task and follow up in a fast- paced environment.
  • Self-starter – takes initiative and is proactive in taking action to resolve issues.
  • Ability to assume responsibility and accountability for decision making required.
  • Ability to quickly adapt and embrace new processes, ideas and technologies.
  • Must be team player willing to assist others at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to exercise strict confidentiality.
Work hours/days: 7:30am – 4:30pm M-F, and overtime as required.

FLEET CREDIT ANALYST
Framingham, MA

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Analyze creditworthiness of fleet submittals and prepare recommendations. Participate in customer visits as appropriate.
  • Recommend credit lines for fleet customers based on determination of annual purchase requirements and assessment of creditworthiness.
  • Monitor fleet portfolio by completing quarterly analysis of Area’s largest customers.
  • Manage fleet credit process to determine priorities and ensure satisfactory turnaround time.
  • Monitor financial covenants and obtain and analyze updated financial statements on existing accounts.
  • Review and approve retail and wholesale requests for financing within established credit authority.
  • Train others as appropriate on the fleet credit process and required analysis.
  • Assist in other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum of four years of commercial lending experience, truck financing at the fleet level preferred. Leasing experience desired.
  • Excellent analytical and decision making skills.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills as well as negotiation skills.
  • Computer literate.
EDUCATION:
  • College degree in business, finance, or related field.
