Ralph Petta, chief operating officer of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association (ELFA), presented to a gathering of asset finance managers at the ConnectionPoint 2010, which runs from June 6-9 in Minneapolis.

Sponsored by International Decision Systems, the conference drew over 100 representatives from the equipment finance market to learn the latest in best practices in leasing technology, processes and systems.

In his talk, Petta focused his address around the drivers that impact the equipment leasing and finance marketplace including the supply and demand cycle, key performance metrics, and the legislative and regulatory environment.

"Speaking at ConnectionPoint this year has been a great experience," said Petta. Representatives from many of the largest banks, equipment manufacturers and financing organizations from across the globe are attending ConnectionPoint 2010. Over 50 sessions are being offered including topics such as multicurrency, asset usage, loan opportunities, and multiple back office systems.
