ATEL Capital Group said it hired Brenda Avila-Martin as property and acquisitions manager. She is responsible for overseeing the operations of current real estate as well as identifying and targeting potential real estate acquisitions for current and future portfolios.
While attending UCLA as a Bill Gates Millennium Scholar recipient, Avila-Martin co-founded Paramita Investments, a student run investment fund focused on principal investment through the value investing philosophy. Prior to joining ATEL, she worked as a real estate investment analyst for Topnet, where she was successful in researching commercial and residential real estate for acquisition.
