Bill Introduced to Shorten Depreciation for Farm Equipment
A bill has been introduced to permanently reduce the depreciation schedule for agricultural equipment by two years to five. The bill will put agriculture equipment on parity with construction equipment which has a similar use pattern and life span.

AGCO Reports Substantially Higher Q4 Sales in North America
Agricultural equipment maker AGCO said sales in its North American region increased 47.3% in the fourth quarter of 2010 compared to the same year-ago period. AGCO noted increased sales of combines, tractors and sprayers contributed to higher sales in the region.
