GE Capital to Sell Irish Mortgage Business

According to Ireland’s RTE News, GE Capital has agreed to sell its Irish mortgage business to Australian lender Pepper Home Loans Group.

The mortgage book has outstanding loans valued at €600MM, the report said. Pepper Home Loans will also take over the servicing of GE’s personal loan book valued at €200MM.
