Monitor Releases Annual Monitor 100

The Monitor 100, the annual ranking of the top 100 equipment finance and leasing companies in the U.S., has arrived. We’re pleased to report that 2011 was a watershed year for the industry.

The issue also features five profiles of industry executives who sit at the head of companies that either came into this year’s Monitor 100 as new entrants or with new leadership. We speak with Tom Depping and Rich Baccaro of Ascentium Capital, John Sandoval and Dirk Matura at CHG-MERIDIAN, Jim McGrane at EverBank Commercial Finance, Jud Snyder at BMO Harris Equipment Finance and Christopher and James Broom at Direct Capital.

In addition to the Monitor 100 report, the issue features an overview of equipment and software investment prepared by TD Bank’s economists Beata Carangi and Chris Jones, who note that between 2010 and 2011, the share of GDP devoted to ESI grew at its fastest pace in three decades.
