Beacon Provides Apparel Equipment Financing for Team Gear Expansion

Beacon Funding provided decorated apparel equipment financing to Team Gear, which enabled the embroidery business to expand.

According to Beacon Funding, Jeff and Dana Rappaport had just one six-head embroidery machine and one two-headed embroidery machine when they started Team Gear in 2003. Beacon Funding came in to help the company expand.

“Beacon is our partner in financing,” said Jeff Rappaport in a post on Beacon Funding’s website. “They have a stake in the equipment. They want to make sure we get the right product.”

Team Gear now has 21 leases, including seven screen printers, four embroidery machines and two gas dryers. The company now offers expanded products such as screen printing, embroidery, UV printing, dye sublimation and laser printing.

“The relationship with Team Gear has been based upon trust and focused on mutual goals,” said Sean Evans, manager of business development at Beacon Funding, in a post on Beacon Funding’s website. “Partnerships like these only strengthen our commitment to assisting clients in reaching their goals.”
