Citing sources familiar with the matter, Bloomberg reported that GE has eliminated Dallas as a possible headquarters relocation site due to the state’s opposition to the U.S. Export-Import Bank.
As Bloomberg noted, the Ex-Im bank’s charter expired on June 30, effectively removing a source of credit for U.S. companies like GE.
GE has also been exploring the possibility of moving its Connecticut headquarters to Atlanta.
