Boeing Tops Airbus at Paris Air Show for First Time Since 2012

Reuters reported that Boeing earned 443 net new orders and commitments at the Paris Air Show, outpacing Airbus, which had 326.

Airbus sales chief John Leahy told Reuters, “Is this a slower show than previous years? Yes, it is. Are we conceding that Boeing sold a few more airplanes than we did? Yes.”

According to the Chicago Tribune, this marks the first time since 2012 that Boeing has bested Airbus at the showcase event.
