VistaJet officially welcomed its 100th business jet from Bombardier Business Aircraft during a ceremony at the 2016 European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE) in Geneva.
The aircraft to be delivered to VistaJet’s modern fleet is a Global 6000 business jet, which entered service earlier this year.
“VistaJet operates the world’s largest privately-owned fleet of Bombardier business aircraft,” said David Coleal, president of Bombardier Business Aircraft. “We are extremely pleased to celebrate this milestone with one of our most valued customers, and we look forward to the ongoing role our aircraft will play in VistaJet’s bright future.”
VistaJet’s existing fleet includes more than 60 Bombardier Challenger and Global aircraft.
“This is a huge milestone in the history of VistaJet and evidence of just how far our company has come. Over the past 13 years, we have invested billions in modern and efficient Bombardier aircraft,” said said Thomas Flohr, founder and chairman of VistaJet. “Our fleet has grown from just five jets in 2006 to more than 60 today. In 2006, VistaJet typically served 30% of the globe.”
