Mitsui is planning to spend more on its aircraft leasing unit in the next three years, according to a report from the Nikkei Asian Review.

The Review said that Mitsui will invest upwards of 130 billion yen ($1.18 billion) in the business through March 2020.

Mitsui plans to purchase mostly single-aisle, narrow-body type models amid rising demand from budget carriers, the Review noted.
