Reuters reported that Zoomlion, a Chinese manufacturer of construction equipment, will walk away from its $3.4 billion bid for Terex after the companies failed to agree on terms.
Reuters said the decision opens the door for the merger between Terex and Finland’s Konecranes, which was put on hold when Zoomlion entered the bidding for Terex in January.
