SunTrust EF Hires Three Direct Client Marketing VPs

SunTrust has hired Destry Toney, Shawn Passman and Steve Kueppers as marketing vice presidents of the Direct Client Group for SunTrust Equipment Finance & Leasing, the company’s subsidiary that provides essential-use equipment financing for businesses, municipalities, colleges and universities. Each is responsible for equipment finance activity in his respective territories.

Toney will be based in the greater Seattle, WA area covering Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Idaho and parts of Northern California. He comes to SunTrust after having spent several years with GE Capital Commercial Finance, and more recently, as a principal with Blue Diamond Capital. Passman will cover New Jersey and the greater metropolitan New York area. He has over 18 years of experience with Royal Bank America and GE Capital Commercial Finance. Kueppers joins SunTrust from GE Capital and will be based in Minneapolis, MN. He will cover Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska and Iowa.
