As a supervisor, Aimee Jackson has the unique opportunity to continue to work with equipment finance companies while coaching her team. She emphasizes fundamentals of effective relationship building and strategic account management processes. Jackson works diligently with an array of clients to understand their business goals and co-create value, whether that means improving operational efficiency, mitigating risk, maximizing profitability or ensuring adequate protection for their portfolio of assets.

In her role at Great American Insurance Group’s Specialty Equipment Division, Jackson leads by example and uses an empathetic approach to inspire her team. She is a firm believer that people, at their core, want to be successful. “Therefore, if you create an environment where people feel valued, understood and respected, they are likely to contribute their best work,” Jackson says.

Jackson aims to be a driving force behind initiatives that encourage creativity, collaboration and continuous learning. In addition to her day-to-day responsibilities, Jackson is committed to staying at the forefront of industry trends and building her professional network through volunteerism.

Currently, Jackson sees three key opportunities for improvement in the industry: attracting and retaining young talent; diversity, equity and inclusion; and increased adoption of modern technologies. She believes many companies and associations have made great strides in all areas, but there is still room for improvement. On DE&I, Jackson says, “In today’s fast-paced world, prioritizing diversity, equity and inclusion is not just about being morally right; it is about staying relevant, competitive and achieving long-term success.”

Jackson says embracing diversity will allow companies to tap into a wealth of perspectives and experiences, leading to innovative solutions and creative approaches to problem-solving. This ties directly into what she hopes will be the outcome of more companies embracing technology solutions — improving operational efficiency, quickly adapting to emerging trends, making data-driven decisions and better understanding customer behaviors.
