David Lane has spent the majority of his professional career with LTi Technology Solutions, living by the company’s organization mission to serve as leaders in the equipment finance industry by fostering innovative ideas and forward thinking to offer technology solutions that will improve the lives of others. To that end, Lane provides a consultative approach to prospective and existing clients to solve critical business challenges with innovative technologies.

“It is rewarding to listen to our clients’ biggest challenges and be able to build technological solutions that help solve those for them,” Lane says. “Some of these solutions for our customers have been simple and straightforward; others have required us to think outside the box and challenge our ability to problem solve.”

Lane believes leadership is not about a title but about showing up to do the right thing and setting high standards by example. He has found tremendous growth by analyzing the work and style of those whom he respects to determine what makes them different, how they got to where they are and what lessons they can share.

“My hope as a leader is to show passion and competency in my craft and to be able to
take pride in our work,” Lane says. “I believe those things are contagious in a team and critical for leaders to demonstrate. If you can inspire anyone in your organization to excel above his or her normal performance and have a multiplier effect, I view that as an invaluable leadership trait.”
