Julia Gavrilov serves as counsel to Moritt Hock & Hamroff in its secured lending, equipment and transportation finance group, concentrating her practice on both the litigation and transactional sides of secured lending and equipment finance. She also serves as chair of the firm’s Women’s Initiative program, which works to eliminate gender bias and provides women of the firm with insight, perspective, opportunity and a platform to assist in their career development and advancement.

Gavrilov has written on various topics pertaining to the leasing and finance industry, several of which have been published in leading leasing and finance publications. As an active member in various industry associations, she currently serves on the Service Providers Business Council Steering Committee of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association and on the Research Committee of the Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation. Gavrilov is also a member of the Secured Finance Network’s Women in Secured Finance Committee and is a member of the GGI Global Alliance. In 2020, SFNet recognized her as one of the Top Women in Commercial Finance as well as one of its Top 40 Under 40 Professionals for her achievements and leadership in the secured finance sector. Gavrilov has been invited to speak on numerous industry panels, including the ELFA’s Legal Forum and its Credit and Collections conference.

Gavrilov is committed to furthering the recognition and advancement of talented women in leadership roles within the leasing and finance industry. While great strides have been made in recent years, Gavrilov is dedicated to continuing to foster those efforts to ensure that women are recognized for their valuable contributions to the industry.
