VISION FOR THE FUTURE:

“At NewLane, half of our leadership team are women. We are continuously creating new positions and recruiting a millennial workforce to energize the industry with new talent. Our unique environment and corporate culture attract talent that can help create opportunities for women in the leasing industry.”

Di Bruno started working in leasing after graduating from college, gaining valuable experience in credit underwriting and analytics, risk management, product development and IT over the last decade in the industry. She has also developed an extensive understanding of both the business and technology sides of the leasing industry. As a leader, she has utilized this unique background to solve business problems and drive solutions that enhance efficiency and automation and is constantly on the lookout for new and emerging technologies that could transform the business.

“Dana has the unique ability to view a topic or project from both a process improvement and customer centric point of view. Having a firm knowledge of technical resources, Dana makes decisions and provides corporate recommendations to advance process improvements for our organization,” says Ronald Queen, NewLane Finance’s vice president of Credit. “An example which comes to mind was our choice in our origination platform. Our senior management team had reviewed various origination platforms, but for a period of time was undecided. Dana recommended using an origination platform that management was unaware of; she completed her own independent research and presented the benefits of the system. After a few demos and additional due diligence, senior management decided to go with Dana’s recommendation.”

Di Bruno’s accomplishments include creating new products, building new systems and integrating new technology to improve user experience and maximize process efficiencies. As one of the first employees at NewLane Finance, she has enjoyed building a company from the ground up while working alongside both industry veterans and newcomers.
