Lisa McNeme

Vice President, Operations, Wintrust Commercial Finance

Member, Equipment Leasing and Finance Association

Lisa McNeme began her career in the early 1990s and has since developed a variety of skills in documentation, funding, booking, compliance and system conversions, as well as back office operations and worked with a wide range of loan and lease products. She has been a part of three start-up equipment leasing and finance groups and had numerous responsibilities throughout her career, including managing several multi-billion-dollar portfolios. Her dedication to the equipment leasing and finance industry and strong desire to provide operational excellence led to her current role as vice president of Operations with Wintrust Commercial Finance, which she joined in 2015.

VISION FOR THE FUTURE:

“Many young talented leaders we look to hire today, especially women, bring enormous talent, technological insight and ideas for the development of new systems and applications. Current leadership should continue to empower these young women through recruitment, training and on-the-job opportunities.”

McNeme has been recognized numerous times for providing exceptional client service, including winning “Team Player of The Year” and being promoted to various roles over the course of her career. As a woman in leadership, she is proud of the teams she has built at Wintrust. She has been instrumental in hiring a strong operations staff whom she can mentor, nurture, train, develop and promote as the next young leaders of the equipment finance industry.

McNeme is also anxious to better advance the industry and would like to see a greater understanding of its impact on the economy, as well as present new career opportunities in the business for individuals going to college.

She is involved in various recruitment opportunities at her local universities and looks forward to hiring the next generation of young people, especially women, into the industry.

“Lisa’s experience in the financial services industry and knowledge of a variety of loan and lease products — along with her initiative, work ethic and passion for excellence — has led her to hire and develop a strong operations team focused on the pursuit of perfection,” says Jeff Darlington, executive vice president and chief financial officer at Wintrust. “That pursuit, to ensure the information is accurate across all systems, has led to improved analytics within the business and great audit results, as well as good relationships with our customers, making Lisa a valuable part of the Wintrust Commercial Finance team.”
