This opportunity will include extensive on the job training with the current chief credit officer of 30 years who will be retiring in the following year. Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate Excel skills: ability to work with pivot tables a plus
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Solid knowledge of contract law
• Ability to collaborate and work with the needs of multiple departments including Accounting, Audit, Legal, Asset Management and Sales/Originations team members

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or business field required
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in credit (15 preferred) and experience in the following areas:

• Perform financial statement analysis, review and compare P&Ls to budgets.
• Responsible for production of monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements.
• Interface with senior management to review performance, explain and control variances and assist in achievement and tracking of objectives.
• Apply the financial policies and procedures of the company. Bring inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management.
• Identify business issues that may have accounting and tax implications and effectively communicate to ownership.
• Responsible for Monthly, Quarterly and Annual, Federal and State Compliance
• Month-end close.
• Monitor cash flow of all assets.
• Monitor Lessee Accounts Receivable Balance provided assistance where needed.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

• 5+ years’ leasing experience in fixed asset financial statement preparation and general ledger/accounting, preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related majors.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting operations
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Proficient in QuickBooks desktop
• A high degree of initiative. A high degree of organization
• Proven management and interpersonal skills
• Possess excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
