Associate Account Manager


Remote or Office depending on location

Our client is a leading independent equipment lessor who has been helping clients with their equipment leasing needs since 1979. Their team gives their clients a competitive edge with solutions optimized for the unique challenges of their industry. This position reports to the Director of Origination Channels.

Position Summary

An Associate Account Manager is responsible for assisting in the development of new equipment leasing customers. In coordination with an Account Manager, and dedicated to a specific geography, this role requires thoughtful strategy, disciplined prospecting efforts to uncover equipment lease opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create a go to market strategy to guide prospecting efforts;
  • Cold call for & close new business within a defined geography;
  • Provide bi-weekly sales updates to management;
  • Populate the CRM (Salesforce.com) with prospecting and meeting notes;
  • Understand the Master Lease Agreement and associated lease documentation;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • A dedicated and hard worker who is motived by winning;
  • One or more years of successful sales experience;
  • Assertive, outgoing, and excellent communication skills;
  • An open-minded team player who is open to others’ ideas;
  • Bachelor’s degree is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits:
