Balboa Capital is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to underwrite small ticket applications up to $250,000 in a fast paced and high volume environment. The ideal candidate will make independent decisions on commercial credit applications on a wide array of collateral and end user types and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. He or she will also evaluate business and personal credit reports, financial statements and other credit information.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Review both Application Only and Financial Statement transactions
• Analyze and research multiple lease requests at a time
• Communicate with various departments and syndication partners
• Work with secondary lenders on credit applications
• Make independent business credit decisions and provide appropriate solutions
• Work in a dynamic, fast paced environment with minimal supervision

Qualifications and Education:

• Thorough understanding of Dun and Bradstreet, PayNet, Nexis Lexis and Experian
• Working knowledge of financial statement analysis
• Five (5) years of credit analysis or related experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administrator, or Finance preferred
• Available on a full-time basis, Monday through Friday
