POSITION SUMMARY
The COO will serve as a key partner to the CEO and CFO, responsible for executing the company’s strategic vision through operational excellence, advanced credit risk management, portfolio performance, and integrated systems. This individual will oversee credit operations, servicing, collections, portfolio analytics, systems architecture, software platforms, and overall back-office efficiency. The COO will be expected to build and scale world-class systems, processes, and teams capable of supporting a high-growth lending platform with a strong focus on risk-adjusted returns, automation, partner satisfaction, and sustainable profitability and ROE.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: 10+ years in senior operational or credit leadership roles within specialty finance, commercial lending, or fintech
Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of credit risk, underwriting, and servicing for non-prime or alternative credit borrowers
Systems: Hands-on experience with CRM, LOS, LMS, and automation software; proven track record of leading tech deployments
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams, develop talent, and lead through influence and results
Analytical Ability: Advanced proficiency in using data to drive decision-making, measure risk, and optimize performance
Execution: Strong bias for action with a track record of scaling operations and implementing process discipline
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced quantitative degree (e.g., MS Finance, Data Science) preferred
