Our client is an international bank and is seeking to hire a Funding Manager responsible for the leadership of the funding team, including managerial duties with vacation/ time off requests; payroll approvals; training; efficiency tracking and all aspects of documentation and funding, including review and analysis of approved credit memorandum for obligations, interpretation of terms, conditions, covenants and restrictions on approval, administration of documents, closing and funding of assigned contracts. Conduct preliminary and secondary review and analysis of approved loan structure and verification of the documents submitted by origination source and determine their compliance with Bank’s requirements. Performs all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates and ensures compliance with established Bank policies and procedures.
Leads and delegates special projects, as needed, for fulfillment, audit and documentation.
Reviews and analyzes more complex credit memos, vendor information, state and other requirements to determine proper loan structure. Makes judgments in order to mitigate the risk by ensuring proper documentation and entry of data into loan structure.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field preferred and/or at least 10+ years of related work experience. Work-related experience must consist of commercial equipment leasing and/or loan processing experience in the financial services industry and at least 3 years in a direct supervisory role. Strong understanding of the equipment leasing industry and a proven track record in managing funding operations and staff.
Intermediate skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation.
Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Thorough understanding of management procedures
Company activities; effectively staff (selecting, training and developing employees); directing employees towards the desired objectives (delegating, motivating, resolving problems).
