Independent Equipment Finance company (in business 40 + years) is looking for a Sales Director to build a sales team. The company has strong funding (holds own paper) and provides financing/leasing (small/mid-ticket) for vehicles and other types of equipment.
Responsibilities/Qualifications are as follows:
- Proven track record in equipment financing, the company is looking to grow outside of motor vehicles.
- Experience in both the vendor and direct channels.
- Lead company-wide new business efforts which includes recruiting, training, managing sales team and leveraging personal network for new business.
- Develop annual sales and marketing plan to meet the growth objectives of the company.
- Guide sales team in developing originations through cold calling, trade shows, networking, targeted e-mail marketing campaigns in addition to working closely with the marketing director and an outside marketing firm.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with at least 5 years’ experience or significant industry experience.
