What you will do:

Execute a comprehensive new business development plan targeted to Equipment Finance Lending opportunities in the United States. Responsible for contributing to the team’s growth and profitability with extensive focus on new client acquisition, developing referral sources and deepening of existing relationships through client cross sell activities. Focus on evaluating/structuring prospective equipment-based and term loan transactions within established SNB credit risk parameters.

Assist the Senior Managing Director in developing, training and supervising the other Managing Director with overall accountability for the effectiveness, productivity and level of employee satisfaction and performance as a team.

  • Responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing program targeted to Equipment Finance lending opportunities across the country, with particular emphasis focus on generating new relationships with peer banks, financial institutions and regional lessors resulting in the generation of new relationships for portfolio and transaction purchases and occasional sales.
  • Promote the company in the Equipment Finance market place, to build a positive image and good market reputation for the company, and to target and originate the financing transactions that meet the company’s credit criteria and other funding parameters.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships and to generate revenues from these relationships. Develops intimate knowledge of all clients and prospect opportunities.
  • Create and maintain established market presence and extensive network or outside referral sources of new business.
  • Perform other duties and functions consistent with officer’s title, as needed.


  • B.S. or B.A. degree is required. Previous Equipment Finance Lending experience is necessary and the individual should have at least 10 years of related experience in the Equipment Finance market.
  • For this position, you must have, 7-10 year of equipment finance experience with five years focused on New Business development with previous buy desk experience.
  • Candidates with advanced degrees (Associates, Bachelor’s, and/or Master’s) preferred, yet a High School diploma or GED is required. Candidates with some combination of coursework and experience, or else extensive related professional experience, are eligible for consideration.
  • Ability to build and expand trusting relationships and partnerships.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations, lending policies, procedures and techniques and well demonstrated understanding of loan risk factors a plus.
  • Knowledge of credit and financial analysis techniques and accounting is a plus.
  • Exceptional business development skills.
