Vendor Program Development Manager

Location of this position is flexible for the right candidate

Qipt Technologies, Inc. is an early-stage financial technology company, building an innovative software solution for equipment manufacturers and dealers. Our platform powers a faster, more streamlined approach to equipment finance that’s fully integrated with vendors’ sales processes, with real-time prequalification, and a delightful user experience. Our three founders have extensive experience in capital markets, technology, and commerce, with company global headquarters in Tel Aviv, Israel and US headquarters in New York City.

Qipt provides OEM’s, dealers, and distributors of commercial equipment with the ability to utilize financing programs to enable sales, reduce the timing of the sales cycle, increase knowledge of their customer base, and control lifecycle management, driving up customer lifetime value.

What you’ll do

We are looking to add a Vendor Program Development representative to our team.

The ideal candidate will have at least two to three years of proven experience in soliciting, developing, and closing vendor finance programs with key manufacturers, dealers, and distributors of equipment in the United States. Our focus is on hard asset collateral but we will expand to other types of collateral that meet our risk and reward criteria.

It is most important to us that the candidate possesses a powerful desire to work within the challenges and more importantly the opportunities that a startup company faces. The candidate that wins this position will be charged with providing answers to strategic questions and providing innovative ideas for solutions. We are not looking for a “Yes Man/Woman”; collaboration and challenging opinions are necessary for success at Qipt.

Location is flexible for the candidate who meets our team’s unique needs and work ethics.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Solicitation of new vendor programs in targeted industries that will provide appropriate financial metrics.
  • Travel as appropriate to solicit and win additional programs.
  • Remain current and interested in innovative technology to add to our offerings.
  • Create materials that assist in presenting the Qipt value propositions to vendor financing partners.
  • Work with the Qipt team to onboard and manage new programs.
  • Maintain the success of existing programs.

What you bring:

  • Two to three years of verifiable experience
  • College degree or equivalent experience in vendor financing.
  • Credit skills in analyzing risk of manufacturers, dealers, distributors, and end users.
  • Strong presentation skills in cold calling, follow-up delivering and communicating our message of how our programs will enhance sales.
  • Proven ability to negotiate program agreements and other documentation in collaboration with our legal team.
  • Knowledge of key documents used in vendor programs.
  • Ability to communicate with C-suite executives and management of our customers.
  • Focused and managed approach to business development.
  • Understanding of the financial metrics that will provide appropriate returns for our customers and Qipt.
  • Someone who sees the vendor program business as a relationship and not a transactional business.
  • Team player who sees him/herself as a part of something big and not the key component of it.
