Vice President of Sales/National Sales Manager


Calabasas, California

TEQlease Capital, an established 20 year old independent finance company, is seeking a Vice President/National Sales Manager to lead its Education, Commercial and Hospitality sales teams. A proven track record of sales leadership, strategic outlook and management in the equipment finance industry is desired.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead our sales teams to achieve volume and margin goals, portfolio performance objectives, and planning, growing, and developing talent for future growth. Work closely with our Finance team to meet company objectives.
  • Streamline processes and coach team members to grow to their full potential. Assist team members in developing and maintaining vendor and manufacturer lease finance programs. Educate and advise account executives and team leaders.
  • Be a contributing member of the company leadership team to help the company grow and thrive.
  • Represent the company at vendor and manufacturer conferences. Perform strategic pre-conference planning.
  • Be a knowledgeable SalesForce user.
  • Develop diverse industry expertise including specific product and technical knowledge.
  • Manage a team of 12-25 account executives and team leaders.
  • Hire additional accounts executives and team leaders.

Qualifications:

  • Sales leadership and best practices experience within equipment finance or commercial lending.
  • Engagement with sales teams in developing originations through sales calling, trade shows, networking, associations, and targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Strong experience in vendor channels with a history in education viewed as a positive.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with at least 5 years of management experience.
  • Strong work ethic, motivation, and ambition to set and exceed goals required.
  • Strong understanding of finance concepts, formulas and applications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team framework.
  • Strong phone presence and ability to communicate financial concepts.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Web based tools, and SalesForce
