Vice President-Sales (Secondary Lease Market)


Regional-Remote

Our client, an established bank lessor, is looking to hire a Vice President-Sales focused on the secondary market who’s primary responsibilities include originating (“Buyside”) new lease transactions while managing their current portfolio.

Location of office is flexible within the contiguous U.S. based on the region the candidate is located in.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Solicits and obtains additional business from new approved Lessors and Syndication Partners.
  2. Increases business from current Lessor base.
  3. Helps maintain the Division’s credit, documentation and funding policies. This job is primarily a sales function, although credit expertise is beneficial to the overall job function.
  4. Maintains credit and financial statements on their Lessees and Lessors.
  5. Organizes their monthly fundings with headquarters.
  6. Assists in funding, processing and collecting on leases.
  7. Creates additional income through collection of fees and negotiation of income stream opportunities.
  8. Handles Lessor/Lessee/Bank Issues.

Travel

Position is required to travel to conduct sales activities and to attend customer events, Equipment Leasing Association events, and other events/training related to equipment financing.

Experience and Skills:

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university preferably in a business-related discipline.
  • At least 7 years lease financing experience. Must have a strong understanding and knowledge of lease financing and lease documentation.
  • Must be sales-oriented with industry wide knowledge.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel at an intermediate level.

Compensation:

This position offers the right candidate a generous six-figure salary, commission plan based on performance and excellent medical benefits and 401k participation and vacation time.
