This week’s Foundation Friday showcase is with the Dext Capital leadership team discussing multiple charities and foundations the organization and individuals support. The interview is with Eric Gross, Charles Stackhouse and Kyin Lok. A few of the charities that Dext Capital supports that we discussed are: Candlelighters, Dougy Center, Lupus Foundation and Ronald McDonald House.
The mission of Dougy Center is to provide grief support in a safe place where children, teens, young adults and their families can share their experiences before and after a death. The Dougy Center provides support and training locally, nationally and internationally to individuals and organizations seeking to assist children who are grieving.
The American Childhood Cancer Organization (ACCO) was founded in 1970 by parents of children diagnosed with cancer. Formerly known as Candlelighters, ACCO is the nation’s oldest and largest grassroots organization dedicated to childhood cancer.
The Lupus Foundation mission is to improve the quality of life for all people affected by lupus through programs of research, education, support and advocacy. Lupus Foundation is focused on achieving the following disease-specific outcomes:
