This week’s Foundation Friday showcase is Blue Street Cares. The interview is with David Rhoads, chairman of Blue Street Capital.

Pre-pandemic, Blue Street Capital mainly supported a charity named Rise Against Hunger. Employees would get together and put together food kits for families in need. Since group gatherings were no longer permitted due to the pandemic, Blue Street pivoted to create Blue Street Cares. Blue Street offered a donation in the employee’s name to any foundation that their employees wanted to support. All the employees had to do was share their story and why they wanted to support said foundation/charity.
