This week’s Foundation Friday showcase is the Tour de Cure- American Diabetes Association. The interview is with Todd Buzard, from First American Equipment Finance.

On August 26, 2016 Todd Buzard’s son Ryan was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. “It was a day I will never forget,”  Buzard said. “That day and the days that followed were filled with fear and many questions.”

Since then, thanks to a great medical team and amazing positivity, Ryan Buzard (and Todd Buzard’s family) has learned to manage his Type 1 Diabetes. Ryan is a normal fun-loving boy.

Buzard’s family decided they wanted to make a difference in Ryan Buzard’s life and the lives of others living with diabetes. They are participating in the Tour de Cure to raise money to prevent diabetes and improve the lives of all of those affected.
