Jen Stitch, CLFP, Falcon Equipment Finance

Jennifer Stitch, CLFP, Documentation Manager, Falcon Equipment Finance, a Division of Falcon National Bank

Jen Stich, documentation manager at Falcon Equipment Finance, is most proud of the time she has taken to mentor and guide team members that want to get to the next level. She says there is nothing more rewarding for her than seeing one of her own grow and thrive within the company organically. Stich mentors directly but also leads by example every day by getting in the trenches with her team members and working beside them. As she says, Falcon Equipment Finance delivers top-notch service to its customers and sources and does it “Falcon Fast.”

As the documentation manager at Falcon, Stich utilizes the talents she’s learned over her more than 17-year career in equipment finance, As a woman leader in the industry, Stich hopes to continue to pave the way for young women just starting out in their careers by leaving behind a legacy of being genuine, trusting her team, inspiring others and working with integrity and compassion. Stich also believes admitting when you make a mistake and when you are wrong is vital to leadership,

‘Don’t be afraid of failing or making mistakes,” Stich says. “Use those moments as learning lessons and growth. We all make mistakes; it is an inevitable part of being human. Be kind to yourself, give yourself some grace and embrace the failure.”

s a member of the equipment finance industry, Stich set a goal of gaining her Certified Lease & Finance Professional designation while at a previous company. At the time, she approached the company’s leadership staff and found that they were not only supportive, but also gave the opportunity for 40 other leaders in the company to participate and achieve this goal. This taught Stich that “if you never ask, the answer will always be no.”

“Since staring at Falcon, [Jen] has documented and created processes for all activities within our business. Jen is CLFP-certified and continues to stay informed about the industry,” Mya Roeun, finance manager at Falcon Equipment Finance, says. ‘IShe was recently interviewed by Jesse Johnson in a Fireside Chat about knowledge and experiences. Jen continues to find ways to give back to the community through volunteer work and helping with Falcon business activities. She is a tremendous player to Falcon reaching Monitor 100, She is part of the development of Falcon’s success and a critical component of our culture.”

In the last year, Stich has taken on an even more important challenge, as she was diagnosed with breast cancer that metastasized into her lymph nodes in December 2021 Stich says the I’m Not Done Yet Foundation, a nonprofit organization that offers support to patients with cancer, has become a blessing for herself and her family since her diagnosis, The foundation has provided her support emotionally, financially and spiritually and she continues to support this foundation by volunteering in any way she can to help other cancer patients and their families.
