Mithu Bhargava, Solifi

Mithu Bhargava President
Solifi

Nearly all great leaders are either visionaries or executors. Mithu Bhargava, president of Solifi, is unique in that she is exceptionally skilled in both leadership styles, offering a good balance between the what ifs of new possibilities and making them happen operationally. She is able to accomplish this broadly across all market segments, industries and technologies, regardless of the size or scale of a company, by building relationships, loyalty and trust.

Bhargava joined Solifi earlier this year as its first president. In this newly created role, she oversees the global fintech software company’s product, technology and delivery functions. Her strong leadership credentials and established track record of developing high-performing businesses globally over more than 20 years made her a perfect fit to continue elevating Solifi’s operational excellence and customer experience. She has also demonstrated significant success in driving transformation and measured change management toward growth and value creation for businesses undergoing rapid growth and transformation.

A seasoned transformational growth leader, Bhargava is a passionate diversity advocate for women in technology and leadership, serving as a board member for C200 and as an advisory council member for Women Business Collaborative. C200 is an invitation-only membership organization consisting of the world’s most successful female corporate executives and entrepreneurs. The Women Business Collaborative’s mission is to accelerate the advancement of all women business leaders and to spotlight the need for diversity and pay parity in the workplace. Bhargava believes the biggest hurdle women typically face while climbing the professional ladder is doubting their own capabilities, which in turn makes them risk averse.

“This most often results in lost opportunities – women do not raise their hands for the next big job with this mindset, and thus end up restricting their own growth and opportunity,” Bhargava says.

Over the year prior to joining Solifi, Bhargava, while working for at NCR Technologies as an executive vice president, accelerated the company’s shift to an as-a-service model through the adoption of NCR’s next-generation cloud-based platforms. Bhargava’s track record consistently shows her ability to bring together teams and leaders across businesses and drive them toward a common goal and purpose, be it in the context of business transformation, growth agendas or broader social causes across diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.

“Most recently, Mithu executed a cohesive ‘one Solifi, customer-first’ mindset and approach across the company, bringing together a unified customer experience across all functional areas of the company,” David Hamilton, CEO of Solifi, says. “In a short period of time, she was able to drive significant impact across the business with tangible improvements to product delivery and endto-end collaboration companywide.”

Bhargava believes a true leader looks beyond their job and their company to influence change and make a difference, and her drive to improve and empower others knows no boundaries.

“Getting comfortable with failure and learning and growth as the end goal to reach success is the fundamental mindset shift that young, ambitious women need to make early in their career,” Bhargava says. “I look to inspire other women by living this mantra and counselling other women to aspire to do the same.”
