Vincent Belcastro

Group Head, Syndications, Element Fleet Management



Vincent Belcastro is a senior banking executive with a diverse background in a wide array of sectors in commercial lending, risk analysis and valuations in both the middle market and the large corporate sectors. He has an entrepreneurial background with strong expertise in managing new business, operational and strategic platforms. This represents a unique background when coupled with strong credit risk management experience and processes. He has been successful in launching and managing several de-novo new business platforms within large financial institutions. He has also successfully consolidated both business platforms and portfolio acquisitions throughout his career. Currently, Belcastro is the group head Syndications at Element Fleet Finance, responsible for the build out and growth of a group that will focus on financing and sell side activities for structured equipment lending and leasing. Prior to this role Belcastro started a large-term lending business at Santander Bank where he served as Group Head of Equipment Finance. He spent a large part of his career at CIT Group and served in a variety of senior relationship management positions at Citibank. He is a member of Monitor’s Editorial Board.

John Deane

CEO, The Alta Group



John Deane is a founder and CEO of The Alta Group. Deane leads the global consultancy composed of five major practice areas. He has worked on strategic projects in all of Alta’s key practice areas: asset management, consulting, legal support, merger & acquisitions, professional development and with a particular emphasis on vendor and captive program development. Prior to co-founding The Alta Group, Deane served as a principal in the firm of Amembal, Deane & Associates. He has been CEO of both Great Western Leasing and BancOne Leasing and has served as the CFO and president of several major financial corporations.

Deane’s broad expertise for over 40 years has been fortified by his work as chairman of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association (ELFA) and a member of the World Leasing Council. The ability and opportunity to work with lessors and service providers from around the world has enhanced his ability to see the big picture and determine where and how Alta clients should focus their efforts, domestically.

 


Robert Boyer

President, BB&T Commercial Equipment Capital



Robert L. Boyer is the President of BB&T Commercial Equipment Capital Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of Branch Banking and Trust Company (BB&T), now Truist. Boyer is responsible for leading the business development functions, as well as, working to develop and execute the company’s strategic plan. Since joining Susquehanna in 1998, Boyer has held various positions including, Sales Executive, Syndications Manager, Senior Vice President of Acquisitions and Syndications, and Executive Vice President.

Boyer currently serves as Director and Treasurer of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association (ELFA) Board of Directors and is a member of its Executive Committee. Previously, he chaired the ELFA’s Membership Committee and Small Ticket Business Council Steering Committee. He also serves as a director for the Certified Leasing and Finance Professional Foundation (CLFP).

Boyer has been in the Equipment Finance Industry since 1995. He has spoken at various events and interviews for published articles. He holds a bachelor’s degree from LaSalle University.

 


Terey Jennings

President, Financial Pacific Leasing



Terey Jennings is a Certified Lease & Finance Professional and the President of the Financial Pacific Leasing since 2019. He joined FinPac in 1986 and has held various positions within the sales, marketing and management areas. Jennings previously served as the President of the United Association of Equipment Leasing. Currently, he is an active member in a number of equipment leasing associations, including the Pierce County Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of Washington. Jennings earned a degree in Business Administration from Pacific Lutheran University.

 


Tom Ware

President, Tom Ware Advisory Services LLC



Tom Ware is the President of Tom Ware Advisory Services, LLC. Ware has had 35 years of experience in small business lending. He has held a variety of credit and general management positions, including Senior Vice President, Operations & Chief Credit Officer of American Express Equipment Finance. He also served as Vice President & General Manager of a billion-dollar business unit at CNH (Case) Capital Corporation.

Ware served as Senior Vice President, Analytics & Product Development, at PayNet, where he was responsible for creating new products and services, including credit scores, predictive models and industry indices. He was also responsible for PayNet’s consulting services such as Strategic Business Reviews, Peer Lender Benchmarking and industry research.

Ware is a Trustee of the Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation, a member of its Executive Committee, and Chairman of its Research Committee. He is also a long-time member of the Equipment Leasing & Finance Credit & Collections Committee, and previously served on the Board of Governors of the Risk Management Association’s Washington D.C. and Maryland Chapter. Ware received a BA with Distinction in Mathematical Economics from Dartmouth College and later earned an MBA from Harvard.
