ABI Names Karasik First VP of Diversity and Inclusion

The American Bankruptcy Institute named Eve H. Karasik of Levene Neale Bender Yoo & Brill in Los Angeles to serve a two-year term as the organization’s first vice president of diversity and inclusion. The ABI created the position to reflect the diversity and inclusion initiatives identified by the organization’s diversity and inclusion working group.

She also has co-chaired the ABI’s Bankruptcy Battleground West conference, served on the leadership of ABI’s ethics committee and been a speaker at ABI events.

Karasik is a partner at Levene Neale Bender Yoo & Brill, where she focuses her national practice on corporate restructuring and bankruptcy, including the representation of Chapter 11 debtors, unsecured creditor and equity committees, trustees, secured and unsecured creditors, and parties involved in bankruptcy litigation in cases pending around the country. Karasik is a fellow in the American College of Bankruptcy and is ranked in Chambers USA as a Band 3 attorney in bankruptcy and restructuring. Karasik has been recognized as a “Southern California Super Lawyer” and in The Best Lawyers in America.
