Advantage Funding Hires Regional Sales Manager for Florida

Advantage Funding hired Scott Burnett to broaden sales in the company’s Class 8, vocational truck and tow-truck financing business. As regional sales manager, Burnett will handle accounts in South Florida, portions of North Florida and sections of southern Georgia and Alabama.

“Scott’s considerable experience in leasing and the commercial truck market will benefit customers in both our truck-load and vocational truck segments,” said Carol Dmytriw, national sales manager of Advantage Funding’s Truck Division. “Today’s commercial customers expect financing solutions that are designed for their business as well as responsive, personalized service. Scott will bring both of these critical offerings and more to businesses in the markets we serve.”

Prior to his appointment with Advantage Funding, Burnett was vice president of Commercial Leasing for Bank of the Ozarks and SunTrust Equipment Finance & Leasing. Before that, he served in an executive capacity for two community bank leasing companies.

“As part of my decades-long experience in commercial banking and equipment leasing, I’ve focused for the last seven years on vehicle finance, so I know the market and the industry,” Burnett said. “At Advantage Funding, I’ll strengthen my customer- and vendor-based relationships by providing tremendous service and a range of quality finance products.”

Advantage Funding is a transportation finance firm focusing on companies in the commercial, vocational truck and dealership spaces.
