During Q2/18, AerCap signed lease agreements for 40 aircraft, including eight widebody aircraft and 32 narrowbody aircraft.

The aircraft leasing company also purchased 20 aircraft in the quarter, including 15 Airbus A320neo Family aircraft, one Airbus A350 and four Boeing 787-9s.

In addition, AerCap executed sale transactions for 30 aircraft, including 21 Airbus A320 Family aircraft, one Airbus A330, one Airbus A340, five Boeing 737NGs, one Boeing 767 and one Boeing 777-300ER from AerCap’s owned portfolio. The company continues to manage five aircraft that were sold from its owned portfolio during the quarter. In addition, a portfolio of 22 managed aircraft was sold while AerCap Signed financing transactions for $2.7 billion.

As of June 30, 2018, AerCap had 1,471 owned, managed or on order aircraft in its portfolio.
