AerCap signed 155 lease agreements in Q1/23, including agreements for 18 widebody aircraft, 58 narrowbody aircraft, 55 engines and 24 helicopters. In addition, AerCap signed financing transactions for approximately $6.7 billion in the quarter.

During the quarter, the aviation leasing company completed 56 purchases for 38 engines, three helicopters and 15 aircraft, including 11 Airbus A320neo family aircraft, one Airbus A220, one Boeing 737 MAX, one Boeing 787-9 and one Embraer E195-E2 for AerCap’s owned aircraft portfolio. The company also executed 41 sales transactions for 32 aircraft (including seven Airbus A320 family aircraft, four Airbus A320neo family aircraft, 13 Boeing 737NGs, two Boeing 767-300ERs, one Boeing 777-200ER and one Boeing 747-400F from AerCap’s owned aircraft portfolio and four aircraft from AerCap’s managed aircraft portfolio), as well as three engines and six helicopters.
