AGCO, a manufacturer and distributor of agricultural equipment, infrastructure and precision agriculture technology, appointed Tim Millwood to its board of directors. Millwood will also succeed Hans-Bernd Veltmaat as senior vice president and chief supply chain officer, effective Aug. 15. Hans-Bernd Veltmaat will then retire from AGCO on Dec. 31. He will serve as a strategic advisor for the remainder of his tenure.

Millwood joined AGCO following a more than 30-year career at Cummins, where he most recently served as vice president of global manufacturing. Millwood’s career at Cummins included multiple international assignments culminating in his leadership of purchasing and manufacturing over the past decade.

His leadership helped transform our global manufacturing network to enable our farmer-focused product strategy.
