Air Lease announced the placement and recent delivery of one Boeing 737-800 aircraft on long-term lease to Travel Service in Prague.

Travel Service will be receiving two new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft on lease from ALC beginning in early spring 2018, both from ALC’s order book with Boeing.

“We have an excellent relationship with Travel Service, the Czech Republic’s largest airline, and are pleased with the opportunity to expand and modernize their jet fleet with these 737-800 and 737 MAX aircraft, providing efficiency and passenger comfort that will further Travel Service’s competitive edge in the European markets they serve,” said Alex Khatibi, executive vice president of Air Lease.

Travel Service is headquartered in Prague, Czech Republic and is the largest Czech airline company. Since its founding in 1997 it has experienced a huge expansion and beyond the Czech Republic, is currently serving markets in Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, France and Canary Islands.
