Air Lease announced a long-term lease agreement for one new Boeing 787-9 aircraft on lease to Neos (Italy). The aircraft will deliver in Q4/19 from ALC’s order book with Boeing.
“Air Lease is very pleased to be delivering one of our new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners to Neos in Italy later next year. This is part of Neos’ fleet upgrade from Boeing 767s to the latest technology B787s, which will allow Neos to serve their Intercontinental destinations in the Americas, Asia and Africa more efficiently, with the most economical twin-aisle aircraft. We have a long relationship with the owners and management of Neos and we will be working together to grow the airline,” said Steven F. Udvar-Házy, executive chairman of Air Lease.
“We are honored to be doing business with our friends at ALC again and look forward to the delivery next year of this new Boeing 787-9 on long-term lease arrangement with Air Lease,” said Carlo Stradiotti, managing director of Neos.
