Aircraft Leasing Won’t Be Hurt by Brexit Says AerCap COO

AerCap told Reuters that it does not expect Great Britain’s vote to leave the European Union to have an impact on its aircraft leasing business.

Citing comments made by Philip Scruggs, AerCap’s president and chief operating officer, Reuters said the aircraft leasing firm believes it and other leasing companies are set up to handle times of distress.

In addition, Scruggs told Reuters he does not anticipate a negative impact on AerCap’s financials because of Brexit.
