Altavair Closes Sale and Leaseback of 4 Airbus A220-300 Aircraft with airBaltic

Altavair closed a sale and leaseback with airBaltic for four Airbus A220-300 aircraft. Funds and accounts managed by KKR funded the acquisition, with Altavair acting as servicer on the assets.

“We are pleased to support airBaltic with this transaction,” Matt Hoesley, head of acquisitions and investments for Altavair, said. “We are very excited about our new relationship with Latvia’s flagship airline and look forward to working with them as they continue to play an important role in European aviation.”

These aircraft are the first Airbus A220 models to be managed by Altavair, which has serviced and leased more than 30 variants of primarily Boeing and Airbus aircraft since its inception.
