Americorp Financial is celebrating 30 years in the equipment lease and finance business. Founded in February 1986, Americorp serves the small ticket boutique medical space.

“Americorp has endured by focusing on people, relationships and core competencies,” said Americorp CEO and co-founder Tom Dunigan when asked about the key to Americorp’s success.

Over the last 30 years, Americorp has weathered numerous economic cycles primarily due to its ability to maintain discipline and focus.

“Many times we’ve been accused of being too conservative,” said CFO Steve Grant. “But our conservative strategy has allowed us to navigate economic uncertainty”.

“When we started Americorp there were many independents offering financing services,” said VP and Co-founder Ardy Cortez. “Over the years, the majority of our contemporaries were either acquired or went out of business for failure to adapt.”
