April’s Top Woodworking Equipment Lenders Account for 53.2% of Total

Statistical data for the woodworking equipment market provided by EDA showed the top 20 lenders in the segment, in the aggregate, filed financing statements covering a total of 47 woodworking equipment related filings during the month of April 2018.

The top lenders, in filings, included:

  • UniFi Equipment Finance (6)
  • Geneva Capital (6)
  • MFR Capital (5)
  • Biesse America (4)
  • Wells Fargo (includes Wells Fargo Equipment Finance and Wells Fargo Vendor Financial Services) (4)

The top lenders accounted for 53.2% of the total, or 25 filings. The two lenders tied for first place, UniFi Equipment Finance and Geneva Capital, each accounted for a 12.8% share of the total.

The top five woodworking equipment buyers (location/brands/filings) included:

  • Legacy Land Management (Georgia/Nederman, Altendorf, HOMAG/5)
  • Jasper Seating (Indiana/Balestrini/2)
  • Legacy Millworks (California/Inca, Gannomat/2)
  • Adornus Cabinetry (Florida/OMAL, Morbidelli/2)
  • Thea Teasley (South Dakota/WoodMaster/2)
