Aviation Capital Leases Six New A321neo Aircraft to Vietnam Airlines

Aviation Capital Group placed six new Airbus A321neo aircraft on long-term leases with Vietnam Airlines. These aircraft are from ACG’s firm order book with Airbus and are scheduled for delivery in 2018 and 2019.

“We are extremely excited that Vietnam Airlines has selected ACG as a long-term partner to satisfy its fleet requirements,” said Khanh T. Tran, CEO of ACG. “We look forward to Vietnam Airlines operating these highly fuel efficient aircraft in their growing route network.”

“We are very pleased to complete this important lease transaction with ACG and this will be part of our ongoing commitment to offer high service quality to the customers,” said Duong Tri Thanh, president and CEO of Vietnam Airlines. “The A321 family has proved to be the most suitable and effective aircraft on Vietnam Airlines’ domestic and short-haul routes.”

Aviation Capital Group is an aircraft asset manager with approximately 415 owned, managed and committed aircraft, which are leased to approximately 100 airlines in more than 45 countries. ACG was founded in 1989 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Pacific Life Insurance Company.
