Avolon CEO Says China Needs More Planes



Citing comments made by Domhnal Slattery, the CEO of Avolon Holdings, Bloomberg said that China has under-ordered by 750 planes for its target of $1 trillion worth of aircraft for the next 20 years.

Boeing and Airbus project that China will become the worlcd’s largest air travel market over the next two decades, according to Bloomberg.

Slattery’s comments came as China’s Bohai Leasing completed its acquisition of Avolon to create the world’s fourth-largest air lessor
